Writers' Showcase -- Books by contemporary authors on CD ROM

THE BIG IDEA -- At the same time as trying to make classic works readily available and easily accessible for a ridiculously low price, I'm experimenting to determine if the marketplace is ready for contemporary (copyrighted) works in this same format (unencrypted text on CD ROM). If so, this would be a great way to showcase new/talented writers and to keep the works of experienced current authors readily available at a low price. I'm starting with my own works and works of other authors whom I know and respect. If I can generate significant sales of those CDs, I will expand, offering royalty-based publication to better-known authors as well.

Intended for use with Windows PCs and recent Macs (OS X), the plain text files on these CDs are readable with your browser or word processor. Some items are also provided in html format, making it possible to include links to related material on the Web.
