This Early Science Fiction CD, with 116 books, includes Jules Verne, Edgar Rice Burroughs, William Hope Hodgson, Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Connecticut Yankee. It also includes such forerunners of Science Fiction as the Odyssey, the Arabian Nights, Sir John Mandeville, the Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and Gulliver's Travels; and such utopian works as Plato's Republic, More's Utopia, Bacon's New Atlantis, Campanella's City of the Sea, Harrington's Commonwealth of Oceania, Morris' News from Nowhere, Butler's Erewhon and Erewhon Revisited, and Bellamy's Looking Backward.

Intended for use with PCs (Windows or Linux) and recent Macs (OS X), these books are in plain-text format, organized for easy access.
