Personal Anthologies

I'm trying another experiment. Your feedback is important to me.

Here's the offer:
  • select up to 100 books from any or all of our "classic collections" of books on CD ROM
  • I'll do all the organizing and technical work to turn your selections into a "personal anthology" on CD, custom-made for you
  • you pay $49 for the first copy of your anthology; $19 each for additional copies
  • I offer your anthology for sale through my online store, etc. for $19, and if people buy that CD, you earn 10% of the revenue as a royalty (paid monthly).
You can also write a brief explanation of why you chose these books for inclusion on the CD (that's optional -- only if you feel like it).

To see what's available for inclusion, please check the table-of-contents documents on the Web --

  • American Literature
  • British Literature
  • Children's Books
  • World Literature
  • Non-Fiction
  • Religion and the Occult
  • Books about Classical Music

FYI -- I plan to release five new "theme" CDs soon -- US History, American Civil War, Women, Philosophy, and Victoriana -- so those topics are taken. But other themes that have not yet been turned into CDs are available, or you could create any number of idiosyncratic collections based on your personal tastes and preferences.

    This is your opportunity

    • to have a custom-made collection of your favorite books
    • to act as an editor (for instance, making an anthology designed for your class or family or friends), and
    • to earn a few bucks.
I'm hoping that you'll come up with interesting combinations that I would never have thought of, and that the opportunity to earn royalties will motivate you to encourage others to visit our store and buy CDs.
  • If you are interested, please let me know ASAP -- you can followup later with your list of books. Questions? If Richard Seltzer, who created this CD, is online now, you can chat with him immediately by clicking on his photo (below). If he is offline, you can send you an email by clicking on his photo.
